Meetings are generally (but not always) held on the 2nd Monday of the month, at the Huskisson Community Centre, corner of Tomerong and Dent Streets Huskisson, starting at 7:00pm. Please double-check via the meeting dates in the table under.

Text Box: Hi folks, HWCV: Annual General Meeting and General Meeting Monday 14th November 2011 - at Huskisson Community Centre As this will likely be the last meeting for the year we would like to invite you to come early for a BBQ, followed by the AGM (usually a quick affair) and then the monthly general meeting. At the general meeting we would like some discussion about the future of the HWCV. Copied in below are the objectives set when HWCV was established in 2006. To provide a two way communication link with Council, other government agencies and non-government organisations who -make decisions that affect us Provide residents and rate payers with a voice to raise issues of concern for discussion and exchange of ideas without fear of any vested interests or bias dominating Promote understanding of issues and the decision making processes of Council and other government agencies and how we can have our views heard To represent the community consensus view, and to assist all other views in being heard To remain independent of any other interest group To have fun and promote community spirit through community activities The agenda for the evening is as follows: 6.00 pm - BBQ, in the Lady Denman next to Community Centre 7.00 pm - Annual General Meeting agenda 1. Ratification of Committee Member/Public Officer to sign OFT Annual Return 7.15 pm - General Meeting agenda - Treasurers report - Bushcare report - Huskisson Beach Reserve report - Report of meeting with Council staff over cleaning/ waste management in Huskisson - HWCV – what are we for, what should we do? 9.00 pm, at the latest, we finish with worlds best supper.
