20 June 2014 - correspondence to Shoalhaven City Council
Subject: HWCV - ref: 2014 projects - Huskisson Woollamia Community Voice Community Projects - June to Dec 2014 To the General Manager, HWCV are requesting Councils permission, at NO cost to Council to ...... Install Dog Bag Dispensers at the following locations...... * Northern end of Huskisson Beach. * Southern end of Huskisson Beach. * White Sands Park. * On the Woolly Way Cycle Path. * Plantation Point Reserve. * Huskisson Sports Oval . HWCV would also like to have 2 seats installed with a plaques, thanking the community for their efforts in assisting Council to keep these areas litter free. One on Huskisson Beach Reserve, and one on the Woolly Way Cycle Way. We understand that there is a cost of $2,600 under the policy to achieve this. So we are asking that Council supply the seats and plaques and that HWCV install them to reduce the total cost of the seats. HWCV have the personnel and skills to install the dog bag dispensers and seats as you are aware that HWCV did build the Woolly Way Cycle Way. The exact locations will need to be defined by you with an on site inspection. We trust that our request will receive Councils immediate attention so as this wonderful project can be commenced in July/August 2014. Yours Sincerely, Paul Sutton, for Huskisson Woollamia Community Voice |
